If you don't want to be tied to a computer to make your Skype calls, this is a good phone to have. Setup was easy. Audio quality is indistinguishable from a regular phone (according to the people we call with it). If you make a few hours of calls on it each day, make sure to replace it in the charger. The battery runs down quicker than a cordless phone, but it's not bad. WiFi (this phone) uses more power than cordless phones is my guess.
